The BC Citizens' Assembly has recommended adoption of BC-STV, a voting method "designed to make every vote count" for a satisfactory representative, "and to reflect voters' support for candidates and parties as fairly as possible" in Legislative Assembly elections. On May 17, 2005, citizens of British Columbia may or may not have decided to adopt this method. Either way, this site allows you to try BC-STV in a repeat of the general election held that day, so you can see how it works.

If you want an introduction to BC-STV prior to voting, try this flash presentation, visit the Citizens' Assembly Alumni site, or read arguments for or against. Fair Voting BC is also in favor.
